It has just been announced that the Clock Tower in the High Street has been Highly Commended in the Aberdeenshire Architectural & Landscape Design Awards 2018. This is the latest in a series of awards for the renovation of the Clock Tower which has seen it changed from a building tetering on the edge of disrepair to one with a definite future. The small exhibition area highlights the restoration work and the famous Fire Balls ceremony.

STA operate the Clock Tower on behalf of Aberdeenshire Council and its opening hours are the same as the museum. Don't forget to view part of Stonehaven's history if you are in the harbour area.
